Former CEO of Hot Topic Inc. serves up retail expertise and a proven track record to rapidly expanding yogurt company
LOS ANGELES, CA. (March 7, 2012) — Pinkberry announced today that leading retail executive Betsy McLaughlin is joining the company’s board of directors, along-side other successful business leaders.
McLaughlin has served as CEO of Hot Topic Inc. Under McLaughlin’s leadership, Hot Topic grew from 190 stores in 1993 to more than 800 stores in 50 states and Puerto Rico.
McLaughlin joins a Board of Directors that includes:

Prior to Hot Topic, McLaughlin held positions in merchandising, operations and finance at Miller’s Outpost and The Broadway. She served as a director on the Hot Topic board for 12 years, and up through January 2011, was on the board at Noodles & Co. McLaughlin has a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of California at Irvine and is a member of the Board of Visitors for the UCLA Anderson School.
