11 10 09 | Fro-Yo Wars: Pinkberry, 16 Handles Win Battles Against Red Mango, Tasti D

A battle in the war between Red Mango and Pinkberry has finally been won — by Pinkberry. Two years ago, Red Mango moved in at 182 Bleecker, only 56 feet from an already-open Pinkberry at 179 Bleecker. The Red Mango had a back garden going for it, but a tipster tells us the location has succumbed, and the phone number is disconnected. Elsewhere, the Tasti D-Lite across from 16 Handles is a goner. As is Daydream, whose name a Grub Street reader came up with almost a year ago. Cue "Taps."

11 09 09 | Pinkberry is coming to Boston

Here at bostonmunch we got word that Pinkberry is coming to Boston and surrounding areas in New England. Sources say the opening is schedule for the first part of spring 2010. I have tried all the other pinkberry replacements here in Boston and still crave the original, I am certainly excited that Pinkberry will be finally here. Stayed tuned for more updates about the locations of this frozen treat!

11 06 09 | Load Up on Pinkberry Before Your Southwest Flight

It was only a matter of time before the faux fro-yo craze that is Pinkberry would hit the airports and we were oh so privileged to see it in action last night at LAX's Terminal 1, known to locals as The Southwest Terminal (although US Airways does have some presence here.)

Wedged in between a Starbucks, a California Pizza Kitchen ASAP and a Gordon Biesch brewery, the Pinkberry seemed to hold its own. We saw many a customer in our 45-minute wait in this airport fast food haven that solely came in to get some Pinkberry.

The bonus? You can also get Pinkberry as soon as you deplane as the location is right before the escalators down to the baggage claim.

11 03 09 | Pinkberry or Igloo Zoo come to me

If I should choose something to eat for the rest of my life I would choose Pinkberrys or Igloo Zoos frozen youghurt - It taste so good, you can choose yourself what toppings you would like, I normally get the toppings blueberry, kiwi and raspberry. Of all my heart I really hope Pinkberry or Igloo Zoo soon will open up in Denmark.
There is already one froyo place in Copenhagen called Rubberduck Frozen Youghurt but it doesn't taste the same as the other places, though it's better than nothing.
