Today’s design tip is centered around the idea of luminosity and the brilliance of lighting. Lighting is one of those things that’s easily overlooked, but can really impact the mood & vibe of a room...

Pinkberry Design Tip #1 – It’s All About Ambient Light!

Use dimmers to “set the mood” in a space. Dimming the dining room chandelier, for example, can create instant ambience.

We use these beautiful white Le Klint lights above the tables that are along the bench seatings. They illuminate perfectly and really help create that vibe that Pinkberry is known for.

We have a dimmer in our dining room. I love it! You can always get the right touch of light. Our light isn't as nice as those Le Klint lights though!

I have a opaque pink drape cloth tacked over my bedroom light (which operates with a dimmer) it allows me to give the room a calming pink haze like look. Very calming after a long day at work!

I have a reddish pink opaque sheet tacked above my bedroom light (which is dimmer operated) it creates a calm mood after a hard day of work!

i think this would go great in a place where you would eat. It's not bright like a hospital room, it is probably more appetizing!

We use lots of smaller lights instead of one big one so we can create little pools of just the right brightness. We also put a dimmer in our china cabinet which adds different amounts of pretty light even with candles on the table.

The ambience in Pinkberry is definitely different from all other dessert places. You feel like you can relax and enjoy your yogurt and not have to be rushed out like a lot of other eateries. Its the perfect place!

I use a string of snowflake lights (from IKEA during the Christmas sale) around the windows in my bedroom to illuminate my bedroom as a nightlight! They help me go to sleep much easier, and they are not too bright!

Placing lamps around my home and using low wattage bulbs and dimmer switch plugs has set the mood of my small studio! Good lighting has enhanced my apartment and made it look twice as large than it is. Thanks, Pinkberry.

Lighting really sets the mood on!! My idea of dining room decor is Candles And Flowers!! My dining room reflects the right colors and aroma through different aroma candles placed aesthetically .i prefer a natural environment and anything artificial is not for the dining area.... 'Pink' and'Berry ' are my two favorite colors !!! So my decor is as sweetalicious as the dessert ' Pinkberry ' !!
